Wella Trend Vision 2017
12.05.17: It wasn't to be! Ryan produced an incredible look at the regional event of Trend Vision but narrowly mised out on a place in the finals. The team and friends cheered on as Ryan pulled out all of the stops, we are naturally biased but honestly think he should have reached the final. Never mind, we are still very proud of all his hard work and dedication.
An update on Ryan and his entry for the Wella Trend Vision Competition. Here are a couple of different images of his fabulous model. Ut's a difficult challenge to choose a picture that will (hopefully) secure you a place in the regional heats. Ryan settled on the first picture we posted (No.3 on this page) but we wanted to share with you some of the other creative looks he worked on.
Here's looking at the next stage of the competition. We will keep you posted.

Hundreds of photographic images from across the country were judged by the hairdressing industries most iconic names including, Sally Brooks from Brooks & Brooks, Charles Worthington MBE, Ken Picton from Ken Picton Salons and Chris Williams, International Colour Director from Rush.
We fought of stiff competition and were successfully chosen to take part in the high energy Regional Finals being held throughout April 2014.
As one of the judges for the L'Ore?al Colour Trophy 2014, Chris Williams from Rush talks about the entries he has seen for 2014:
“The most exciting thing about judging the L'Ore?al Colour Trophy is seeing the diversity of the work and entries we see each year. To make it through to this stage is an amazing achievement and now each competitor will need to demonstrate a sharp awareness of current definitive trends and translate them into all of the elements that create an overall live model look. Both clothes styling and hair will all need to merge flawlessly on a model selected specifically to capture the look."
The next stage of the completion will put us through our paces. Competitors must create a live model look and demonstrate an awareness for Autumn/Winter 2014/15 trends in just 30 minutes as outlined in the brief, the model look must be original, modern and inspirational, the total package. The team of judges are looking for a trend-setting, show stopping total look that can inspire clients and hairdressers.
The overall winners of the L'Ore?al Professionnel Colour Trophy will pick up a once-in-a-lifetime prize package which includes a photo shoot in London to showcase their winning look, a day training with an experienced session stylist, a fashion shoot with Elle Magazine, lunch with their hairdressing idol, a comprehensive and a personalised plan to promote the salons win PLUS endless PR opportunities throughout their winning year!
